the last couple of weeks have been true hell
waiting is not my strong point
and i have been waiting for my home loan to be approved
last friday, the lender wanted "more information"
"this isnt a 'no,' we just need more information because we were recently audited and there were some problems uncovered and, well, we have to have additional information before we can say yes"
and so consideration of my application was suspended pending receipt of a non-traditional payment reference, meaning something from utilities showing my pay history, a VOR--verification of rent, and all the info from the bankruptcy in '98
i got that all in last monday
tomorrow i go thru closing and become a home owner
finally
and does everyone get this nervous, sick to the stomach feeling before consigning oneself to mega-debt???
i'm excited but scared
and dreading all the work that i face over the next month
but it will be MINE
yayayay
anyone wanna come help?
i really could use a husband right about now.....
and guess who has been trying to reach me?
and calling my parents to find out why I wont return his calls
