more workplace drama today
BD asks me if ive received some strange emails
i told her no, but i had heard about them
she says DH called her late last nite all upset about them
LOLOL
if you knew DH you would know the woman would get upset if her husband were killed before her very eyes--she is one cold bitch
and then off BD runs to the school board to meet with DH (she tells me) but she told someone else she was going to the tech dept to see if they can identify the perp
she says that the people behind this will lose their jobs---i doubt it; not if they have tenure
she claims it breaks the acceptable use policy we sign about use of school computers; but the perp may have done the deed from their home puter or the public library or whatever
she is one paranoid bitch
and i guess she should be paranoid cuz everyone does want her gone
in fact, another coworker has gone to the union and filed a grievance and they may be coming to our school to interview other teachers and try to have her removed
oh my, but this can only mean trouble for her AND everyone else, because there is nothing worse than a wounded animal

this past thursday, most (but not all, and not me) of the personnel at my school received emails from *********@yahoo.com (I'm not going to post the real email addy which has a nickname for our school plus the word "teachers")

this email was from an anonymous someone that said this account had been set up for us to use to contact DH (director of elementary schools) or school board members or whoever and stay anonymous--to complain about BD or curriculum or whatever; if interested, reply to the email

a coworker printed it out and showed it to me
there were a few misspellings and some improper English; no one is perfect
the funny thing was that anyone could set up an anonymous acct and email these people if they so desired
was it a trap? was it BD herself trying to see who would respond??
and hello, most of us wouldnt be afraid to call DH and say this is soandso and i wanna bitch about BD

and why were some of us excluded from the TO list? in our school system, email accts are your firstname.lastname@theschoolsystem.org so it isnt that they didnt know our emails, although some people go by their middle names and the email uses their first names

well next day after much hallway discussion, their arrives a 2nd email, this time including many of the left out, but some names were spelled wrong and mine was put in lastname.firstname instead of the correct way so i still didnt get it but was shown it by a coworker

this one said NO THIS IS NOT FROM BD, BLAHBLAHBLAH......AND ALL OF YOUR THAT SAY YOU ARENT AFRAID TO CONTACT AND COMPLAIN ABOUT HER USING YOUR NAMES ARE LYING CUZ YOU HAVENT DONE SO

if this person really wanted it to be anonymous, why didnt they give the password to access the acct in one of their mass emails, rather than require you reply to their email for more information?

most people are rightfully suspicious

AND as much as i hate BD myself---and this i also said to my corkers-----it just isnt right to complain about the bitch anonymously
how would you like for someone to try to get you fired and do it anonymously
even (most) people on trial get to face their accusers

i am just totally shocked and at a loss for words

they are absentee owners, living in shreveport and probably havent even seen the house in years and it just isnt worth 90 grand

susan, my realtor is out of town till mardi gras, but left me the name and number of a coworker that she said would show me homes, etc till she got back
i called her(julie) cell this afternoon and she sounded perturbed, told me she was in metarie for a wedding, could i call back monday

it's in sulphur, and would be a great excuse to ask for a transfer so as not to commute everyday and then i could start fresh away from BD---i had typed in all kinds of mean things about her but i need good karma, so i erased them(for now)

my problem is when i find one i really like someone beats me to it by hours or even minutes
OR
i love the house but the neighbors are icky
or something major is wrong that i dont want to deal with
or the house is way too big or way too small or the property is way too big or way too small
or the house is in a flood zone
or the house is next to a carwash or pentecostal church

finding the perfect total package isnt easy
i keep telling myself ive only been looking for 6 weeks
give it time
but talking to myself is like talking to a brick wall

i have completed my first full week of work since before thanksgiving
and may i say that i was exhausted after just the 1st day

i was observed for my fall evaluation wednesday
tuesday, the asst principal asked what would be a good day for them to come and i replied "come whwnver you like; i teach everyday, and i wont do anything different just because people are watching" in other words, you wont get a dog and pony show from me!

anyway, Ms.D(asst principal) and the rat lady(Dr. W, from the corporation hired to Fix our school) both came to my last class of the day(bitches)
that is the read 180 group ( http://teacher.scholastic.com/products/read180/ ) that i teach
this is the group i lovingly refer to as the sweathogs
there are a few special ed kids in the group but most are not--they are mostly kids referred to as 4.5ers---kids that passed their coursework but not the LEAP and though they sit in 5th grade classes they are not really 5th graders
if they pass the LEAP this year they will be promoted to 6th grade; otherwise they will be in 54th grade next year
my unasked for opinion is they should be sitting in a fourth grade class this year and if they pass they can go to fifth grade---whatever

anyway
so the bitches come to class and i score the equivalent of a 100 if i were taking a test
i received rave reviews and they talked mu up till my head began to swell(hush ken, be nice)

so i'm good to go till the spring evaluation
i'm liable to be observed many times during the year but only 2 are considered formal evaluations with results turned in to the parish and placed in my personnel file

now if only i could find a house
