Patricia Ann Guillory
1952-2004

Patricia Ann (NEVER call her "Pat" unless you are feeling brave) was Paul Ray's oldest sister; if you recall, Paul was my best friend of more than 25 years who died in '98

Patricia's funeral was in Pasedena, Texas, but burial was here in Lake Charles
their family has a special tradition of the family filling in the grave using shovels rather than the cemetary employees using a backhoe; it gives them closure

i was fine until Pete started crying(the youngest brother), then Lillie Mae (a sister) collapsed on the grave sobbing that she had lost her best friend---then i lost it; Lillie is the sibling of Paul's that I was closest to, but I love them all

their family is my other family---and they feel the same about me
they are scattered all around the country, so I never get to see them anymore except when someone dies

i promised Lee, Lillie, and Glenda to keep in closer touch from here on out
we are all getting old
all of their children are so big
Patricia's son, Joel is grown and has nearly grown children now himself---and i missed seeing them grow up

since paul died I have been, well, a recluse
i dont think this is a bad thing(shut up mel; if you can keep tanning(hi dante!) knowing the dangers, then i can recluse{i know ken will let me know a better(and real) verb

i miss all 9 of these other siblings--i was ever closer to them than to my blood kin
i remember sitting at that dining table, totally standing out with my white skin, but they never cared about that; i was family

Patricia is buried next to her mother, Esta, who i always called Mama Guillory
Glenda reminded me how much her mother loved me; how much they all do
thank you lil sister

Jeffery Thibodeaux DEAD

i found out today that i died
i was in the lobby of the school when a parent walked in and stopped suddenly, staring at me
she stammered, "i'm sorry mr thibodeaux, but my son told me a couple weeks ago that you had passed away!"

obviously,he was mistaken; i pinched myself(and it felt good)

i couldnt understand how the child could think this since he saw me everyday in the hall and i spoke to him all the time--he was my student a couple years back

so i went and asked him(i am so no-nonsense and direct, teehee)

"they announced it over the speaker," he told me
"they said mr jeffery died"

ahah!
i finally understood!
around easter, a former co-worker had been murdered and his name was jeffery frazier
the child told his mother mr jeffery died and she thought it was me
or the child is totally outside the realm of reality and thought it was me

but i AM still alive, I AM, I AM, I AM!!!!
can you hear me????
maybe that is why no one emails me or leaves me comments anymore; i died and it hasnt sunk in yet

maybe i should watch for THE LIGHT

an odd thing happened today

i was in my bedroom writing checks for bills, when my dogs started going coocoo
barking and having a fit that is

they do this often, when they hear things only they can hear, and such

well, they didnt stop after a few minutes even after being told to pipe down

sooooooooooooooooo
i went to the front door where they acted as though someone/something was on the porch

i opened the door and no one was there, but there WAS a vehicle parked in front of my house with an enormous dog in it

i thought it was someone visiting either across the street or next door, said, "oh what a purty puppy" and closed the door and went back to my bills

well then the dogs headed to the back door and so i let them out and they acted all strange sniffing the ground as though someone/something had come into the fenced yard

i was like, get inside, you crazyass dogs----it had just finished raining(again!!) and they were getting all wet(just had baths last nite!!!)

well, here it is like hours later, and i go outside to meditate for a few minutes about tigger and there is somethin on the ground---my first thought is something fell from the trees, but no, there is yellow and violet---omfg someone has put flowers on tigger's grave!!!!

it must have been maryclaire!

i wish i had realized you were out there
i must have just missed you at both the front and back doors, lol
i put the flowers in a vase and on the porch where she used to lay

i wouldve left them on the grave, but i the dogs would have dragged them all around the yard and/or eaten them

Kid's Sex Change at Six

I had gotten home from work right before a major storm hit and immediately noticed Tigger hadn't eaten her food from this morning---the fact that it was there was a total shock since there are so many strays about, usually if Tigger isnt in the mood for what I put out for her, it still usually gets eaten.

I wasn't worried. She's old and sometimes goes for a few days without eating for whatever reason

i rushed the dogs outside so they could go poop bnefore the storm hit---it was dark and scary looking, so I knew it would pour any sec
they acted like they didnt wanna go out so i went out and started walking the fence-line expecting them to follow, which they did, but that was when I noticed an odd something on the other side of the fence, in the side yard near the front of the house

i immediately knew

i ran to her crying

poor baby

i turned her over to see if she was mauled, or had been hit by a car or for some sign of whywhywhy

poor baby

yes this is the same cat i have ranted about a called abitch
she was a bitch, but she was still my baby

i put her in a plastic bag and put her in the garage because by then it was raining--hard

there was a short period later when it was just sprinkling, so i went out and dug a grave---it was harder to do than i thought; twice i had to use my emergency inhaler; but the rain held off until i was putting the last shovel of dirt back in place; thank you god

Just a quick post to express my total repugnance at the scandal coming out of Iraq right now
how can we ever ever ever ask others to trust us again?
how can we accuse others of human rights violations?
I literally threw up when I saw the first reports
and yes, George W. Bush is ultimately responsible for all of it
the buck stops with him, but he of course wont take responsibility
it is time to ask the UN to take over completely and for us to leave
it will be a generation at least before the world will look at us with anything but contempt and disgust
that is the legacy of George W Bush

sorry i havent updated lately
things are very crazy for me right now
i've been bringing a huge box of paperwork home daily

remind me to tell about the birthday dinner where i was plied with liquor and i think sexually molested by a trio of "straight" people while passed out
also, i have some new pics i need to put in my yahoo album
