Moral Quandary of the Week

so i'm stealing from jj in a sense
wait till you hear the evil i've done now
surely i will burn in hell with, well, the rest of you

today i got my haircut
yes it looks nice
no that's not the moral quandary
let me finish

i was on my way to get my hair cut
i had an 11:00 appointment with cindy, my hair stylist
being that i needed stamps, i stopped at my bank which was on the way
what? your ATM doesnt have the option to purchase stamps? move to a different bank that does...or not

ANYWAY
i put in my card and my PIN
press BUY STAMPS
press BOOK OF 18
press PRINT RECEIPT
and out comes---
yep, a $20 bill

hmmmmm, what did i do wrong
i glance at the receipt
yep, it plainly says
STAMPS $7.41

hmmmmmm
SHIT i DO NOT have time for this, i'll be late
i'll come straighten this out later
because, of course, it would be wrong to keep the money

well after i got my hair done, i was headed back to the bank, stomach growling and dammit i still needed stamps, so i passed the damn bank up and went to the post office and bought stamps and went home a made a nice salad and some garlic breadstix for lunch

surely someone else will report this malfunction
they'll catch their error and adjust my account

maybe i should go back and see if i can't get another malfunction?
