i've decided that alan was right and that my lexapro had pooped out at the 10mg dosage and i am taking 15mg now which is one and a half pills, and next weekend i will bump up to 20 mg

stress has had me addled and coocoo galore(no relation whatsoever to pussy of the same surname)
unfortunately the increase in milligramage makes me sleepysleepysleepy
thankfulyy i havent had to go thru the whole side effect montage i had at the beginning tho i have had a couple slight headaches, nothing like i dealt with when i started taking lexapro
i had heard from others that have increased their dosage and some had had to endure the whole side effect thingy like it was day one on the stuff; this is why i am slowly bumping up(not humping nasty bois)

ive been exacting the revenge in them that i cant really get

things at work arent as 'in ya face' as they had been, but the emotions are still running high and i take everything personally
oh yeah and BD is a big bitch ho and i called her that in public, so i bet she's heard, oh well

on the home front, i am still pissed off at the landlord for raising the rent, so i have been contemplating buying a house and have looked a bit, but havent done anything concrete like talk to realtors or loan officers
i'm kinda waiting till after the election cuz i may move to canada, altho since chrisco has disappeared off the face of the earth, i dont know so much maybe not

melodie and i finally were able to meet for lunch yesterday and tried a new place called Tequila's

my program facilitator thought he was giving us a heads up with the following email that had been sent to him, but we had already discovered this going on in our school and crushed it like a bug----remember i work in an elementary school also
i dont think the kids actually were following through with the acts, but that the even talk about it and think about it in 3rd 4th and 5th grades blows my mind

I have a friend who is a social worker at DAvis Elementary School in SE
We were talking about our jobs and she asked me if I had heard about the "Sex Bracelets" that kids are wearing in schools now. I told her that I heard something about it on the news 2 months ago but did not pay attention to it.
She stated the kids call the game "Pu**y Poppers"

Girls wear these multicolored rubber bracelets on their arms and a boy will come up to them and try to break one..each color bracelet has a different meaning...the girl will have to perform the act for that color. Students have been suspended from schools for selling them. (We now suspend students for wearing them/popping them....Jeff)

Moments after speaking privately with MD to vent, BD says she wants to speak to me.
-claims that others have told her that my jokingly calling my READ 180 students “the Sweathogs” a la Welcome Back Kotter is inappropriate at that it had reached “the highest levels at the school board”

-told me that my bringing up Mrs. C’s 1:10pm til the end of the day planning period in front of Dr. W was inappropriate and “none of your business”
I reminded her that I did not say it to her or to Dr. W. We had been discussing who “we” could get to help us with the afternoon math remediation and I whispered to Mrs. T(curriculum coordinator) that Mrs. C had plenty of time. BD and Dr. W had gotten up to leave and were headed out the door but couldn’t stand not knowing what had been said and BD asked repeatedly what I had whispered until Mrs. T told her.

-also was extremely upset that I had asked other teachers if they knew that we were supposed to do Exemplars on EVERY Friday. She had come into our math class last Friday and we were not doing one that day, but instead were doing an assessment as described on our lesson plan, and made the comment that we were supposed to be doing an Exemplar as mandated. She told me she had been told that I had even asked Mrs. B(LINCS Coordinator) to poll all the LINCS groups and had even called to ask Mrs. B if I had. I had not. BD said that others would jump on anything such as the insinuation that she was trying to write us up for nothing and that in the future I should just go to her.

I told BD that I would simply not ever open my mouth again except to teach. No more joking or talking to anyone about anything, and to please not ask me for my input in the future if all my questions and comment were “inappropriate.” Of course, she told me that this “threat” was extreme and that isn’t what she wanted at all, but that it might be best if I stopped talking/joking with others as people cannot be trusted not to take anything and everything out of context. She does want my input, but only in private. She and MD both assured me that I do a good job and that otherwise I wouldn’t still be there.

BD also told me that she has repeatedly apologized, not for what was said at that first meeting with Dr. W, but for my hurt feelings---that Mrs. E(another special teacher and friend) and I had both misunderstood their intentions and words. She feels as though there has been a “wedge” between us since and I suppose there has, but I still feel the same and told her so.

i have been having sinus problems most of this year but the drainage had been clear but is now an icky yellow
sooooo i am on an antibiotic
my lungs sound clear, but my breathing is too shallow and i am headed towards an exacerbation which means a dreaded hospital stay---we gotta nip it in the bud
every cold every respiratory infection can send me spiralling down
even though i've had the pneumonia vaccine, alan is concerned i will get it(pneumonia)

i have been under such stress lately i have had to start documenting the things going on at work
i will post the one i typed up the other day after i go back and change names to initials

not only am i at high risk for complications, but i also work in one of the worst places---public schools; parents are notorious for sending their kids to school sick---but they keep them home for stupid stuff like to go to a parade, go figure

i have an appointment with my pdoc on wednesday of this week
i hope he'll have gotten in some vaccine
otherwise i will have to try to find one at a kroger or walgreens clinic

one of the local hospitals had a flu clinic the other day and they only had 70 doses total to give because their shipment hadnt materialized

i dread the prospect of another hospital stay
i'd rather just die in my bed
my dogs would take better care of me than today's nurses(oops, sorry christi!!!)
i only mean that they are so short-handed and overworked on their 12 hour shifts that they get meaner than a nun in a catholic school(20 years ago)

of course i went online and i passed muster on the first step of the screening process

i received a call today but wasnt home so i hope they call back
i have a lot of questions and want them to send info to my pdoc so i can get his input

it would be nice to think that something good could come of thisthisthis thing i did to myself; even if it doesnt help me, i'd like to try to further the research into cures/treatments for emphysema; i have been keeping an eye out for a clinical trial nearby

i would have to make 8 trips to New Orleans over a 14 month period if i am accepted; maybe durly could give up a few hours to visit with me in a nonsmoking environment
