omg life has just been so coocoocrazy lately
LEAP testing is thankfully over, but CBA is still to come--that's Curriculum Based Assessment for those of you that arent special ed teachers
more on that after Easter/Spring Break
this past thursday, i rode on a yellowhound (bus 1 of 3) on a field trip with the entire 4th grade (96 kids) to Shreveport to visit http://www.sciport.org/ and it was really a blast
the imax was showing the lewis and clark saga and then there was the whole "sound" infotainment by this chris rock-like presenter---to me the best part of the day and he was h-o-t
the hands-on activities were a lot of fun too, especially the grossology room where you could learn about things that are---well, gross like snot, body odors, etc---but in fun ways
long trip on a school bus---next time they ask me to chaperone if it isnt on a charter bus, i'll have to pass
we left at 6 am and i got home about 930 pm
needless to say, friday i spent the day in bed and that really isnt an exaggeration
lick me bitch, let me see YOU babysit all those fourth graders!

i AM in the new house
it has been a very busy week
last weekend was moving week, and as i mentioned to chrisco, NEVER let other people help you pack
it will take a while to finish the unpacking
daddy has been by frequently to get his list of daddy-do's completed, but i keep adding to it, so get over it daddy, lol
anyway, i am totally loving my home
it is soooo fabulous to have modern conveniences after living in that 130 year old house for 14 years
i'll try to update and tell some moving stories this weekend
this is the week of hell---high stakes testing--at work and with the coocooness here at home and the dogs confused about where the bathroom is----omg----its been busy

i changed a bathtub faucet and a shower spigot all by my lonesome
my lil brother stopped by the new hmestead while i was there today and was telling me how to do some repairs, and i said STOP...i dont want to be told how to. i want YOU to do it FOR me

sorry i havent updated about the closing
things are going to be crazy until I get moved into MY NEW HOUSE
i have been getting all my changes of address sent in, getting utilities changed transferred and still have yet to go in it and clean--that's this weekend
my move date is march 12
do you realize how soon that is omgomg
all the utilities were cool about me having service at both houses till the end of the month, except Entergy(electricity) who wanted an additional deposit if I had it on at both for more than 15 days, so instead of moving after LEAP and easter, it must be before
ps
I'm crazy happy
love to you all and come help me move dammit
